My wolf, chained.
My magic, silenced.
My identity, shattered.
For five long years, I was locked in a tower. Forgotten. Abandoned. Caged.
Until he came. And everything changed.
Freedom should’ve brought relief. Instead, it lit a fire I can’t control. My heat simmers beneath the surface, and fate throws me into the arms of four men who awaken the beast inside me:
Ryder, whose wolf mirrors the primal craving in my soul.
Zachary, the stoic bear whose touch calms the storm.
Markus, his twin, haunted by the shadows of his past.
Aidan, my first love…my rescuer.
Their beasts call to mine, and every broken piece of me aches to answer. But invisible bonds still hold me down, and I can’t help but wonder:
Is the damage from the tower… or from something darker within?
Monsters stalk the forest. Their leader wants the blood and essence of all creatures like me. We fled to Caladah, a village spoken of only in whispers. A refuge. A home.
But even here, safety is an illusion. And love might not be enough to save us.
Can three soul-bonded mates—and one human who’s always had my heart—heal the scars of my past? Or will our future shatter before it ever begins?

Five years alone in a tower was enough to drive even the sanest person crazy.
My mind wouldn’t settle, no matter how hard I tried. As usual, sleep evaded me. My eyes burned. I need to sleep.
A vicious maelstrom caused the tower to sway. Waves crashed against the weathered stone in their relentless pursuit of destruction. The gears and cranks groaned, while bricks broke free from their mortar, crashing to the ground with each roll of the tide.
The noise was deafening, but so was the silence within me.
I arched my back against the hard, lumpy mattress, hoping to ease the knots along my spine. I should’ve been used to it. But how could I be?
With a restless sigh, I flopped back onto the bed and stared at the ceiling. My scalp ached from the tension of the bindings in my hair. No matter how much I fidgeted, I couldn’t get comfortable.
I squeezed my eyes shut and listened to the ominous howl of the wind thrashing outside. Everything else was quiet and still inside my lonely room. I tried to block out the emptiness gnawing at my heart, but it was no use against the assault of the past.
A flash of hair against bruised skin.
Pale, wide eyes full of hatred burning me to the core.
Shocked screams.
Desperate calls of my name.
Then darkness.
Terrible memories blended together until my head was nothing more than a mess.
Almost surrendering to the idea of another restless night, I sat up, resting my back against the headboard. Beads of sweat gathered on my brow, and my stomach clenched.
It had been five years since I had last seen a friendly face, or felt grass between my toes.
Five years since I had felt anything but anger, resentment, and longing.
So long since—
I dragged my hands down my face, fighting back the frustrated sob threatening to break free. There was no use in crying. It changed nothing.
Curling in on myself, as if to protect my heart, I listened to the rain and thunder, praying it would lull me into a deep sleep. The only escape I had.

“Rayne? What a beautiful name. Not that I’d expect anything different.”
I blinked. “Now you know my name. Can you please leave?” My wolf tried to repeal the words before they could leave my mouth, but I bit my tongue to hold her back.
“Leave? Why would I want to when we’re just getting to know each other?”
“Because we’ve asked you to. This lake is already occupied, so could you and your men leave?”
He leant into me, smirking. “Or what?”
I bit the inside of my cheek. I wasn’t sure if it was nerves or excitement rushing through my veins. Either way it heated my blood. “Or I’ll make you leave.”
His grin widened. “You’re pretty brave for a naked woman with a shit ton of hair.”
I fought back my own smile. “And you’re pretty cocky for a tall piece of shit.” I quirked my eyebrow and licked my lips.
He threw his head back and laughed, the sound causing my wolf to whimper.
“What can you do to me, love? You’re naked and unless you’re hiding a weapon in all that hair, there’s nothing you could do to stop me.”
Rolling my shoulders back, I stood to my full height, the top of my head still only reaching his nose. “I don’t need a weapon. I am one.”
He laughed, shaking his head. “Really? Somehow I don’t think so, love.”
Before I could say anything, my hair lashed out and wrapped around his throat, gently squeezing. His eyes widened with surprise, then narrowed. He inhaled and our gazes burned into each other until his scowl disappeared. He slowly swiped his tongue across his lower lip, then grinned. “I like you.”

Firm fingers dug into my shoulders, massaging. I moaned, losing myself to the strength of [REDACTED]’s talented hands. My hair swirled around me, mirroring the excitement brewing in my belly.
[REDACTED] leant in, his warm breath ghosting across my ear. Delicious shivers wracked my body.
“Time for bed now, sweet lua.” He gripped my chin, turning my head to capture my lips in a searing kiss. Holding me in place, his tongue ravished my mouth, dragging out low whimpers. Pulling back with a grin, he nipped at my bottom lip.
He released my chin and slipped his hands under my arms, lifting me from the chair. My heart beat wildly against my chest and a giggle slipped free.
I halted his attempts to snatch me away and held my hand out for [REDACTED].
[REDACTED] let out a warning growl, his lip curled in threat.
I blinked. “What’s wrong?”
“I don’t share.” His voice was rough and full of menace, yet he didn’t scare me.
Arching an eyebrow, I met his stern gaze. “Well, you do now. You either play nice or you don’t play at all.”
His eyes flickered. The corner of his mouth twitched into a smirk. “Is that so?”
Gently settling my feet on the floor, he wrapped a large hand around my throat. My pulse raced beneath his touch.
“If you want him too, fine. But you better be a good fucking girl and do exactly what I tell you. Or you’ll go over my knee.”
