My current reading habits
Who else is thankful the weather is turning cooler? I definitely am!
Heatwaves can be especially tough when you’re chronically ill. For me, any sort of temperature fluctuation is a nightmare.
I think it’s partly because of the heat and my ongoing fatigue that recently I’ve been drawn to reading more MF novellas and shorter novels. Don’t get me wrong, I love an epic, multi-book series, but it’s been harder to focus in recent months.
Not that I’ll let that stop me reading!
There have been several MF series that I’ve devoured that I thought I’d share with you:
- If you want fast-paced monster smut try Her Monster for the Night series by Belle Blakley – I also recommend the Briar Coven series if you want witches and incubi.
- Prefer alien romance? Try The Zodiac Brides by Laetitia Aldin
- Want werewolves and fated mates? Try the Mate Hunted series by Lola GlassSeasonal themed, small town – High Five Novella series by Serena Pier
On the rare occasion I can read a longer novel, these have been some of my recent reads:
- Heartwarming rom-coms – Love & Other Recipes by Letizia Lorini
- Morally grey love interests, dark, spicy twelve dancing princesses retelling series – Twelve Dancing Princesses by Erin Fae Ryan
What can I say? I have an eclectic taste!
