Am I going back in time?
Hi my lovelies, I can’t believe it’s May already! Is it me, or is this year flying by?
Even more reason for me to knuckle down and get something written.
Which leads into what I’m trying with my next project…
I know this image probably looks like it’s ten to twenty years old. But would you believe it was only taken a few days ago?
My ADHD and brain fog can make it extremely difficult to concentrate, so I wanted something distraction-free with no ads or AI. (Which is becoming increasingly difficult)
Enter my old Sony Vaio 10.1 netbook and a 7th gen iPod Nano!
It’s almost strange to purchase songs again after years of using Spotify, but no ads or subscriptions makes me smile.
As for the netbook, I downloaded a simple open-source word processor, then disconnected the internet. The simple shifter to using older machines has already increased my word count and given me the creative freedom without getting distracted every few minutes. Let’s hope it continues 😅
